About the Marketing Competition
The LAFT Berlin Performing Arts Program solicits the most extraordinary communication and marketing concepts in the city within the scope of the Marketing Competition.
All members of the independent performing arts community are called upon to consider their own marketing and communication needs and develop a communication and marketing concept specifically for their own circumstances.
The two best concepts will be selected by an independent jury and will receive
€ 12,000 and € 7,500. The third prize is a public prize that provides € 500.
The Three Rounds
Round 1: Submission of the Entries
The entries can be submitted via the Performing Arts Program website. You have the option of receiving feedback about your concept from an expert prior to submitting your entry. The submission deadline is March 15, 2015. An independent jury will select ten concepts from all of the submissions in April. The compelling nature and creativity of the marketing idea itself as well as its implementability are of special importance to the jury.
Round 2: Revision of the Entries
The selected participants will receive tips, criticism and suggestions for their concepts from marketing and communication experts within a two-day weekend workshop. Following the workshop, each team will receive an initial award of € 1,000 to revise their concept. In addition, each team will be advised by an expert in an individual meeting.
Round 3: Final Presentation, Jury Selection and Prize Money
The 10 teams will present their concepts to the public and the jury during the Performing Arts Program Industry Get-Together. The winners will receive prize money that may used exclusively for the implementation of the marketing concepts submitted.
