Performing Arts Program at the Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg 2020
Open Call: Participation at in the shared trade fair stand
We invite all Berlin artists working in the fields of street theater, circus arts, new circus, puppet and object theater as well as cabaret to take part in the trade fair stand of Performing Arts Program at the 32nd Internationalen Kulturbörse Freiburg (IKF, or Freiburg International Culture Exchange).
The 32nd Internationalen Kulturbörse Freiburg (IKF, or Freiburg International Culture Exchange) takes place from January 26 - 29, 2020 in Freiburg.
The Performing Arts Program will present Berlin‘s independent performing arts community there with a trade fair stand. The goal is to give artists (groups) the opportunity to present themselves together at the event.
The name of the stand will be “Performing Arts Made in Berlin” and will be staffed at all times by one or two members of the Performing Arts Program team. The stand will feature a monitor for presentations, a shelf for presenting informational materials and a standing table for engaging in conversations.
In order to take part, we ask all interested Berlin artists to submit print materials AND digital presentations by December 4, 2019:
- Print materials can be flyers, postcards, programs, brochures, business cards, et cetera (max. 3 different types with about 30 copies of each).
- Digital presentations should be in the form of either trailers or photo slideshows (max. 5 minutes).
The informational material will be laid out and made available at the stand. All digital presentations will be shown on the monitor at regular intervals.
Unfortunately, we can only consider submission that include both print materials as well as digital presentations that present at least one tourable production that has already been produced. By submitting their materials, all participants will be listed in the trade fair catalog and on its website.
In addition, we are able to offer all interested parties a 45-minute focus at the stand in order to be able to present themselves and their work there.
Please note that the travel expenses, accommodation expenses and personal registration fee for the IKF unfortunately cannot be reimbursed.
NEW! Participants doing a focus at the stand have the opportunity to get a reduced exhibitor-pass for € 24,- (instead of € 84,-).
We ask you to submit your materials and/or register your participation by December 4, 2019, at the latest.
