Nathalie Frank was born in France in 1984. She has lived in Berlin since 2011, where she completed advance training in culture journalism at the Berlin University of the Arts. Alongside coordinating Theater Scoutings for the Performing Arts Program, she is also active as a freelance culture journalist for the TV station arte and the magazines Exberliner, Berlin Poche and ParisBerlin, amongst others. Before moving to Berlin, she worked as a culture manager in the theater sector for five years in Prague, Czech Republic. She was the international press spokesperson for the 2011 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space; prior to this, she ran the marketing department of Theater Minor for two years. Other positions in Prague include the French Institute, the artistic production office jedefrau.org as well as the Prague Philharmonic; she also worked with the Living Theater in New York, the artist association Paris Macadam and the Czech Institute in Paris as well as the association Zahoud‘art in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. She completed her studies in political studies and culture management in 2007 at Sciences Po in Paris.
