Working meeting: Shaping and Changing – Information Event on Anti-Discrimination Struggles in Art and Culture

August 18, 2020, 4:00 pm

How can structures be created in the art and culture sector in which people can really work safely while being protected against discrimination? What prevention and sensitization measures are urgently necessary? What strategies exist for fighting against structural discrimination? What points of contact, information centers or networks exist?
We have addressed these questions since December 2019 over the course of three different events and we are very pleased to be able to offer a working meeting on August 18, 4:00 pm on the topic in order to be able to exchange thoughts together with the representatives of the initiatives and projects included in the previous events in consideration of additional steps.

Due to the current hygienic safety recommendations, the number of participants is unfortunately very limited.
Interested initiatives working in the field of anti-discrimination are welcome to send an email till August 16 to franziska.janke(at) and will be told the location of the meeting if it is possible for them to participate.

In addition, we are also very pleased to announce that a reader with a short description of the initiatives previously presented will soon be made available online at and that an additional public event on this topic has already been planned for the beginning of December.
